This article high\u00adlights how bar\u00adriers to access, struc\u00adtu\u00adral bot\u00adt\u00adlen\u00adecks, and insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adnal sel\u00adec\u00adtion mecha\u00adnisms con\u00adtri\u00adbute to une\u00adqual oppor\u00adtu\u00adni\u00adties in early child\u00adhood edu\u00adca\u00adtion for child\u00adren with a migrant background\u2014particularly racia\u00adli\u00adzed child\u00adren. The explo\u00adra\u00adtory ana\u00adly\u00adsis illus\u00adtra\u00adtes that legal opti\u00adons available to fami\u00adlies are often limi\u00adted in prac\u00adtice. The shortage of qua\u00adli\u00adfied staff not only exa\u00adcer\u00adba\u00adtes access issues but also nega\u00adtively impacts the qua\u00adlity of edu\u00adca\u00adtio\u00adnal work. Pro\u00adfes\u00adsio\u00adnals in this field find them\u00adsel\u00adves caught bet\u00adween pro\u00adfes\u00adsio\u00adnal stan\u00addards and struc\u00adtu\u00adral resource cons\u00adtraints.
