We have joi\u00adned forces to drive change at all levels of early child\u00adhood edu\u00adca\u00adtion and to sys\u00adte\u00adma\u00adti\u00adcally break down bar\u00adriers to edu\u00adca\u00adtion. Our work is gui\u00added by the UN Con\u00adven\u00adtion on the Rights of the Child and the legal man\u00addate set forth in SGB VIII. To this end, we focus on three key approaches:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
GeDAB brings tog\u00ade\u00adther stake\u00adhol\u00adders who hold posi\u00adti\u00adons of respon\u00adsi\u00adbi\u00adlity for early child\u00adhood edu\u00adca\u00adtion in various sec\u00adtors: experts and insti\u00adtu\u00adti\u00adons from the fields of edu\u00adca\u00adtio\u00adnal prac\u00adtice, aca\u00adde\u00admia, civil society, local govern\u00adment, state and fede\u00adral poli\u00adtics, and the busi\u00adness com\u00admu\u00adnity. Tog\u00ade\u00adther, they dis\u00adcuss cur\u00adrent chal\u00adlenges, share expe\u00adri\u00aden\u00adces, and bridge dif\u00adfe\u00adrent insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adnal per\u00adspec\u00adti\u00adves. In this way, know\u00adledge and exis\u00adting approa\u00adches are made available across insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adnal and fede\u00adral boun\u00adda\u00adries, so that effec\u00adtive solu\u00adti\u00adons do not have to be deve\u00adlo\u00adped from scratch in every loca\u00adtion. We are rai\u00adsing public awa\u00adre\u00adness of the issue of demo\u00adcracy edu\u00adca\u00adtion in day\u00adcare cen\u00adters through policy papers, pro\u00adfes\u00adsio\u00adnal events, and social media acti\u00advi\u00adties. The focus is on equi\u00adta\u00adble access, par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adtion, and com\u00admu\u00adni\u00adca\u00adting sci\u00aden\u00adti\u00adfic fin\u00addings to the gene\u00adral public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
