Dr. Sey\u00adran Bos\u00adtanc\u0131 foun\u00added the GeDAB net\u00adwork in Octo\u00adber 2024 to put her rese\u00adarch on insti\u00adtu\u00adtio\u00adnal racism in day\u00adcare centers\u2014and the recom\u00admen\u00adda\u00adti\u00adons for action deri\u00adved from it\u2014into prac\u00adtice. Its pri\u00admary goal is to sus\u00adtain\u00adably streng\u00adthen par\u00adti\u00adci\u00adpa\u00adtion, reduce dis\u00adcri\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion, and fos\u00adter the full deve\u00adlo\u00adp\u00adment of poten\u00adtial in a post-migrant society within the con\u00adtext of early child\u00adhood education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the past fif\u00adteen years, Dr. Bos\u00adtanc\u0131 has been working to com\u00adbat dis\u00adcri\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion, pro\u00admote demo\u00adcra\u00adtic edu\u00adca\u00adtion, and fos\u00adter inclu\u00adsive struc\u00adtures in early child\u00adhood edu\u00adca\u00adtion. She com\u00adbi\u00adnes aca\u00adde\u00admic exper\u00adtise with many years of prac\u00adti\u00adcal experience\u2014as a prac\u00adtice con\u00adsul\u00adtant, inter\u00adsec\u00adtional diver\u00adsity trai\u00adner, spea\u00adker, and chair of the board of the Kin\u00adder\u00adwel\u00adten<\/a> Institute. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She also worked as a rese\u00adarch assistant at the Natio\u00adnal Dis\u00adcri\u00admi\u00adna\u00adtion and Racism Moni\u00adtor (NaDiRa<\/a>) at the Ger\u00adman Cen\u00adter for Inte\u00adgra\u00adtion and Migra\u00adtion Rese\u00adarch (DeZIM<\/a>). There, she was in charge of the area of edu\u00adca\u00adtion and racism\u2014the foun\u00adda\u00adtion from which the GeDAB net\u00adwork emer\u00adged. She has been the exe\u00adcu\u00adtive direc\u00adtor of the Schwarz\u00adkopf Foun\u00adda\u00adtion<\/a> since Decem\u00adber 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kira M\u00fcns\u00adter\u00adberg works as a pro\u00adject mana\u00adger for the GeDAB net\u00adwork. She has expe\u00adri\u00adence in the field of early child\u00adhood edu\u00adca\u00adtion from various per\u00adspec\u00adti\u00adves. After com\u00adple\u00adting her prac\u00adtice-based trai\u00adning, she worked as a state-cer\u00adti\u00adfied early child\u00adhood edu\u00adca\u00adtor and was invol\u00adved, among other things, in set\u00adting up a new day\u00adcare group. In addi\u00adtion, she was able to gain expe\u00adri\u00adence in edu\u00adca\u00adtio\u00adnal jour\u00adna\u00adlism while pur\u00adsuing her degree in jour\u00adna\u00adlism and cor\u00adpo\u00adrate communications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
